Optimization service is one-time performance improvement (performance on demand) and is the best option for systems that have lost performance after some time of operation, but are not subject to continuous development. When your system is constantly being modified to implement new functionalities and keep up with the ever-changing business environment, then a comprehensive performance management service is a better choice because one-time changes to improve performance may not work well after subsequent system updates.

Performance Monitor gives us very accurate information about the execution times of each single SQL query in the database along with information about CPU usage and the amount of data exchanged during I/O operations. Thanks to more than 15 years of experience of our experts based on information from the application, we can predict with very high accuracy how much the performance of the database can be improved. The accuracy of our estimates is so high that we are not afraid to provide customers with a guarantee of achieving certain parameters of database performance.

The service of one-time performance optimization depending on the needs of the Customer is performed remotely or locally at the place indicated by the Customer. On the other hand, the comprehensive performance management service is performed only remotely by the DBPLUS monitoring center. In this way, we are able to ensure consistent performance for the duration of the contract.

Each service requires prior software installation Performance Monitor. Performance information collected from the moment the monitoring is started. In order to perform the service as best as possible, we recommend a minimum of several days of operation of the application on the monitored database and only after that we proceed to perform the services.

Raport zawiera szczegółową analizę topowych zapytań z rekomendacją poprawy ich wydajności które można osiągnąć bez ingerencji w kod aplikacji. W raporcie zawarte są również informacje o wąskich gardłach i sposobie ich usunięcia (np. wysoki poziom blokad).

3. po wdrożeniu zaleceń Klient otrzymuje końcowy raport na którym widoczne są rezultaty wdrożonych zmian. Porównanie wydajności baz danych przed i po wdrożeniu rekomendacji.
